Rain Policy

 

·        Every effort will be made to play all games.

·        Tournament Director reserves the right to shorten game times in order to complete all games.

·        Tournament Director reserves the right to lower the number or pool play games in order to complete tournament.

·        Should rain wipeout play on Saturday, we may go to an early start on Sunday with shorter game times to complete pool play and then either:

• Award the top team the Championship

• Play Single elimination following pool play

• Have the top 2 seeds play a Championship Game

• This all depends on time available and field conditions.

 

·        Should rain wipeout play on Sunday, the top seed from Saturday will be declared the tournament Champion, followed by the 2nd seed being declared Runners Up.

·        Should rain wipeout an incomplete Round Robin, Tournament Director reserves the right to not award a Champion, and offer a refund based on the listed guidelines.

·        Should rain wipe out the entire tournament, our refund policy is as follows:

•  0 games played - 80% refund

•  Or full admission to another Shock Tournament

•  (covers operating costs that can not be recuperated)

•  1 game played - 50% refund

•  2 games played - 25% refund

•  3 games played - No refund

* Games played include any full or partial game played!! *

•  We will offer a 20% deduction from a future Shock Hosted Tournament for any team that gets rained out and plays less than 3 games.

·        Refunds will be mailed out within 30 days of rained out event, unless it is requested that it be applied towards a future tournament.
